Hi, I'm Jo!
I have a knack for noticing.
I’m drawn to the problems that take some untangling, especially the ones that call for both careful understanding and a little creativity.
My path started in counseling psychology, and that training still shapes how I work today. As a UX researcher, I approach my work from a compassionate, trauma-informed, and inclusive lens to ensure that users' needs stay centered in conversations and design.
For more than a decade, I’ve used research, facilitation, and strategic thinking to help organizations replace uncertainty with shared understanding. I have worked in digital healthcare, edtech, and civic tech, often in spaces where the stakes are high and the answers are not immediately obvious.
I’m at my best when I can bring calm to chaos, connect ideas that have been sitting in separate places, and help teams imagine a more thoughtful way forward.
